PORTFOLIO

Brookline Shingle Style Victorian

A layered collection of painting, works on paper, sculpture, and mirrored glass brings color, reflection, and a strong sense of character to this Brookline Shingle Style Victorian. Works by Peter Brooke, John Gibson, Julia Powell, Peter Bradley Cohen, Robert Rea, Nicole Chesney, Polly Apfelbaum, and Maggi Brown move between landscape, abstraction, and richly tactile surfaces. Working closely with the clients and interior designer, we considered scale, palette, sightlines, and placement so each work felt personal to the homeowners and fully integrated into the rooms. This collaborative approach brought together the clients’ tastes, the designer’s vision, and the character of the architecture to create a collection that feels expressive, cohesive, and distinctly their own.
