PORTFOLIOCambridge Contemporary Residence
This Cambridge residence brings together a powerful collection of works that explore light, pattern, material, and cultural memory. Pieces by Alia Ali, Anila Quayyum Agha, Lalla Essaydi, David Maisel, and Richard Serra create a rich visual dialogue across photography, sculpture, abstraction, and architectural form. Throughout the home, the collection adds depth and intensity, balancing intricate detail with bold, contemplative moments. As the project came together, Powell collaborated with the interior designer and client to consider how each work contributed to the atmosphere of the space, including selecting pieces for the final photography that highlighted the relationship between the artwork and interiors. This collaborative approach reflects Powell’s work with designers and collectors, helping clients create spaces where artwork feels personal, intentional, and connected to the way they live.
