 “We were visiting our clients in Hobe Sound after they had purchased land and were starting to plan their winter home. They already had an architect and builder on board and were genuinely excited to dive into the interior design process. When they asked who we thought might be the right design partner for the project, Laura Pierce of Keeler & Co. came to mind instantly.

I knew Laura had spent time in Hobe Sound and would instinctively understand the spirit of the place. Her meticulous attention to detail and her sophisticated sense of color made her a perfect fit for these clients — both thoughtful and deeply engaged in the design process.

It was such a pleasure to collaborate with Laura and our clients as we shaped the home’s art program together. One standout piece was a large-scale diptych by San Francisco–based artist Andrew Faulkner. The clients had seen it at Portland Art Gallery and were considering it for the open family and dining room. I made the trip to Portland to view it in person on their behalf, and it was immediately clear: this was the piece. Its scale, color, and energy made it a stunning anchor for the space.

Laura brought the perfect touch to complement the work — a set of festive globe lights that add both warmth and a playful sense of movement to the main living area. The result is a space that feels layered, joyful, and deeply personal.”
