Allie has led legal, financial and operational roles at firms ranging from three employees to 35,000, in industries as diverse as law, wealth management, and hospitality. As Chief Operating Officer of Powell Fine Art Advisory and Cypress Art Handling, he oversees the operational strategy and execution of the firms’ advisory and art services businesses. Throughout his career he has worked closely with all sectors of the artsphere, from collectors, trustees, and their trusted advisors to artists, galleries and museums. 

Prior to joining Powell Fine Art Advisory and co-founding Cypress Art Handling, he advised high-net-worth individuals and families on complex financial planning, estate and wealth transfer strategies, and closely held business matters. 

He received his BA from Amherst College (honors thesis: Masculinity in Hollywood Film), and his JD from the University of Virginia, where he captained various co-ed softball teams to championships.

When he’s not helping Hadley and her team, Allie plays soccer, tennis and golf and sings pop songs with their two young daughters.
