“Polly introduced us to a client who had recently relocated from Chicago to a townhouse in Beacon Hill, Boston. She was overseeing the interior design and brought us in to curate and integrate artwork into the space. The client already had a strong art collection and deep ties to the Chicago art scene, so it was important to build on that foundation while connecting her with Boston’s vibrant arts community.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this collaboration has been exploring Boston’s museums, studio visits, and philanthropic art events together. Early in the project, we identified the need for a striking statement piece in the foyer. I recalled a stunning diptych by Nicole Chesney—etched glass with a dramatic black-and-white palette—that I had seen the previous year. It was the perfect choice: bold in scale, yet elegantly restrained.

As the art selections evolved, Polly seamlessly wove elements from each piece into the interior design—drawing out colors for accessories, pillows, and drapery. Her thoughtful eye and collaborative approach made the process both cohesive and inspiring.”
